Turning to the third part of the Mobility division, Bryan elaborates on the Snap business.“ Snap is a pan-European digital payment aggregator for the trucking space,” he explains.“ Although a large proportion of our revenue comes from UK business streams, we have a growing presence in Europe, especially with Snap. By enabling digital payments via a consolidated billing platform, Snap makes it easy for truck operators to book additional services alongside parking, such as meal vouchers, truck washes, or shower facilities.”
As part of DCC Energy( DCC), a leading seller, marketer, and distributor of multienergy solutions, Certas is also accompanied by other energy businesses.“ We are one of four revenue-generating profit centers within DCC, alongside other legacy elements of the business such as the lubricant operation, and our sister business, Flogas, which specializes in LPG and LNG solutions, as well as moving into biomethane,” Bryan shares.“ There’ s also a relatively new business within DCC, Energy Management Services, which houses all things renewable, from battery storage and commercial installations to insulation, boilers, and grant funding.”
Alongside partnerships within DCC, Certas places equal emphasis on its supply network.“ As the largest distributor in Britain, we’ re not beholden to one – and we have great relationships with most of the refineries in the country,” Bryan says.“ Since the invasion of Ukraine in 2022, the UK has faced issues over security of supply, and it’ s times like this when the power of our relationships shines through. Instead of transactional procurement relations, our partnerships are based on openness, transparency, and integrity, and we share clear goals to find effective resolutions where possible.” 44
