The Hellenic Republic Asset Development Fund ( HRADF ), established in 2011 , is the stateowned asset development fund of Greece . HRADF is implementing a particularly ambitious program to utilize the private assets of the state in a way that will , on the one hand , contribute decisively to the reduction of public debt and , on the other hand , create the foundations for restarting the development process in Greece , offering multiplier benefits for the economy .

Operations are based on three fundamental pillars including asset development , where the fund buys , operates , improves , and sells large-scale infrastructure projects for the benefit of the Greek state . The fund also acts as a procurement hub for government services and serves as the port planning authority for Greece . It owns and operates some of the largest infrastructure entities in Greece , including Athens International Airport , Hellenic Post ( the national postal system ), and superyacht marinas .
The heart of the organization ’ s philosophy is to operate as a strategic partner of the state in promoting and strengthening the growth potential of the Greek economy , attracting investment , and generating national wealth .
