The business showcased the Luminator Suite at the 2024 APTA Mobility Conference in Portland , Oregon , in April , where it also unveiled its expansion into E Ink and ePaper . E Ink color displays use proven bistable reflective technology that provides low power consumption and superior visibility in direct sunlight , offering a more sustainable alternative to traditional TFT displays . These displays are managed through Luminator ’ s content management software ( CMS ), which enables operators to display status throughout the network and update content on multiple displays as needed .
