Unique project portfolio
Soon after its acquisition by Tersan Shipyard at the tail end of 2023, Tersan Havyard secured a newbuild contract to construct a hybrid workboat for Nordlaks, a Norwegian aquaculture company.“ This project marks the first newbuilding initiative signed after we came under our Turkish ownership. The vessel is unique in many ways, but it holds quite a special significance for us because we constructed the whole vessel at our own yard while also developing the entire value chain within our Norwegian facility, a model that we do not employ very often. Despite its relatively small size, the vessel boasts enormous capacities, serving as an offshore workboat with a tumblehome. This is an exciting project that we have now delivered, which makes us very proud.
