We’ ve launched several customerfocused programs, such as our Helping Hand program, which is all about making transport more accessible for people with disabilities. Creating social value
Following another great year, Go-Ahead Group’ s position in the market remains strong as it continues to embark further on its strategic growth trajectory. Keeping its expansive customer base close to its core, the company will continue to invest back into its operations to keep communities connected, from the UK to the Nordics, Singapore, Australia, and beyond.
“ We’ re planning to invest close to £ 200 million into new electric buses across the country in 2026, which is an exciting step forward. If we’ re successful in our tenders, we will have a busy year of mobilizing new operations, which will present great opportunities for us to expand our services and deliver more value to more communities,” Daniel affirms.
“ Over the next five years, we will continue to be a market leader in electrification and are hoping to have most of our bus fleet electrified by 2035, which is no small feat when we operate 7000 buses globally. We want to continue to grow our presence across the UK and in our international markets; we want to expand our rail operations further, particularly in Australia and New Zealand,” he concludes, optimistic for the future ahead.“ Being a multimodal operator is a big part of our strategy. With our unique approach to collaboration, partnership, and creating social value, we continue to offer public transport authorities a one-stop shop for accessible bus and rail transport.” ■
