BRW
competitive suite of services . The company ’ s journey began in 1958 , when it was founded by Bill Williams as a modest trucking business . At the time , BRW operated with just two trucks that traveled from Alabama to Boston to complete its first deliveries . Following the passing of Bill Williams in 1965 , his wife , Ruth Willams , took over the company . Ruth has since grown the business to new heights throughout her 25-year leadership tenure . In 1992 , a new chapter began when Greg Brown , Dee Brown , and Kaye Perry – Bill and Ruth ’ s son-in-law and daughters – took the reins of BRW , having grown up in the business themselves . Under their leadership , the company diversified its offerings that same year by venturing into warehousing and logistics services , opening up a new era of opportunities , growth , and innovation for the business .
In 2024 , both organizations ’ foundational divisions , B . R . Williams Trucking and B . R .
Williams LTL Logistics , were acquired by Haney and White Enterprise , which is owned and operated by Nate Haney and Mike White . This strategic acquisition formed a consolidated and unified entity , BRW , seamlessly integrating trucking , logistics , warehousing , and fulfillment services . The newly amalgamated company now boasts substantial assets , enhanced capacity , a robust customer network , and synergistic advantages across its integrated service spectrum . Over the last 66 years , BRW has grown into a thriving organization employing over 300 professionals across its locations in Kentucky , Georgia , Alabama , and Florida . As of today , it operates a fleet of approximately 175 tractors , over 700 trailers , and manages five warehouses spanning more than one million square feet , thus servicing customers in the 48 contiguous states and Canada .
